Good morning!

My Jesus,

I give you the desires of my heart. It gets hard sometimes to confidently wait on You. But I’ll do it God, because I know You’re faithful, I can’t do it otherwise.

Thank you for making everything beautiful in Your timing…with as much of me as I can give you right now, I’ll wait on you Lord…

         Amen

War room the movie!

I am not one for movie reviews, but I feel like it’s essential to promote the movie War room. I don’t want to say too much about it, but that I highly recommend the watch…and if you go, take your husband or wife/ significant other along too haha… Or even equally better, go alone 😁

I really enjoyed the movie, enjoyed it so much I cried lol, but I suggest you see it without expectation.  I’ll let the movie do the talking…

Have a fighting finish to the week!

God bless

Christian apologetics.

1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)

15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

Christian apologetics is a really interesting field of theology that has been really encouraging to my own personal relationship with Christ.  . Instead of laying out my thoughts about it,  I am sharing two things; a article written by William Lane Craig (Does God exist?), and a sermon by Ps. Robert Morris.  The motivation for this post came as a blessing from a passion my best friend has in this area of Christianity, and also, through the experiences I’ve had with people who have questioned my faith in God.

The question about whether or not God exists allowed me to reason.  I mean, please don’t get me wrong, I am in no way trying to convince you otherwise, nor do I doubt.  But from reasoning my beliefs, I feel like I am more sound in my reply to someone who isn’t quite sure about God.  Looking into the evidence for God is so important for non-believers, I mean, you can’t say God doesnt exist without knowing both sides of the argument.   It is also just as important for Christians, my friend put it in a cool way, she said:  “You cant have blind faith” – there are so many christians who have been talked out of their faith in God because they haven’t ‘looked deep into who He is.

Our job isnt to fully understand God, we can’t.  But like everyday life, you can’t just go off ‘what he days, or she says’  it’s essential that you initiate a personal relationship with Christ with wholehearted belief in the reason we call ourselves Christians.   If anything, I believe with all my heart, and soul that my God exists.  I know this, not because I was raised in a Christian family, but because alongside believing in the bible and the price Jesus paid for me, I have seen the way God has worked in my life! I’ve seen the fruits of who He is, and I have personally witnessed His love.  The idea, of course, isn’t to shove Christianity into people’s faces, ultimately everyone has a choice.   But when I think about how awesome God is, and has been in my life, gosh it just makes me wish that more people got to experience a love like His.

Hope this blesses you! 🙂
